Summer is coming soon, which means it’s time for us to put together a few outfits or simply let’s note the things I’ll add to my wardrobe and wear during this wonderful time of the year.

Shoes, Which I Prefer

Classic loafers. Remember, they are the most versatile option. We can wear them with trousers and jeans. However, they are not very comfortable for the beach. For the beach, buy Birkenstocks or boat shoes. This year, I’ll probably choose boat shoes for the sea, but I’m not sure yet. Boat shoes will look great on the beach with swim trunks and a linen shirt or, alternatively, I’ll wear old shirts that I used to wear every day to the beach this year.

Clothes That Will Add Even More Colors to This Bright Summer

Summer is the perfect season to play with colors. From sunny yellows to blues, a splash of color added to your wardrobe can bring a little more style to you and light up your days. Let’s find out what I will wear this summer.

Trousers

I can’t forget to mention my favorite trousers with double pleats, which will emphasize the outfit and draw attention. Of course, they will be in a milky color. One pair of linen trousers, and for sure, the color I added to my wardrobe this summer (and we’re already making two such pairs, one from wool and the other from linen) – olive-colored trousers. A beautiful color that will blend well with other basic colors and definitely highlight your individuality.

T-shirts

There will definitely be basic T-shirts in my wardrobe in two colors – white and blue. The blue T-shirt will go well with the milky trousers, as well as nicely with the olive ones. The white one will be a good match with the olive trousers. As for polo shirts? It’s possible, but I probably won’t wear them this year.

Shirts

The white shirt is slowly sneaking into my wardrobe. I didn’t used to like them much, but with the olive color, it will look beautiful. A linen white shirt will look nice on the beach or after it, when I can get a little tan and my skin will be a chocolate color. If your skin is originally like that, add it to your wardrobe. And yes, don’t forget to roll up the sleeves, it looks very nice, and unbutton the shirt at least two buttons on top, Italians do it with at least three buttons. I’ll do the same in Italy. It’s even easier at the beach.

Jacket

I’ll have a double-breasted dark blue jacket made of lightweight wool and a safari jacket made of linen. All this will look good with trousers and my loafers.

Also, Don't Forget About Accessories

I’ll often have a leather bag in my hand or I also have a woven bag, which I often wear to the beach or in the city when it’s really hot, a nice pair of sunglasses, and a bracelet on my wrist.

Summer Vibes

Summer is about ease, where you don’t have to worry about linen wrinkling, sleeves poorly rolled up in a shirt, and so on. Flutter and enjoy every sunny day. I’m already looking forward to my summer wardrobe, a trip to Pitti Uomo, sea workouts, and runs in my favorite cities.

By combining your mood with your outfits, you will create harmonious looks that will definitely highlight your individuality and attract attention, like a bright rainbow during a summer rain!

Wishing everyone a wonderful summer!

Fact in the Spotlight

The history of the emergence of topsiders. In the early 20th century in the United States, sailors and fishermen faced a problem of slipping on the wet decks of ships. To solve this problem, footwear with non-slip soles was developed, which was initially made of leather and rubber. This footwear was called “top-siders” because it was intended to be worn on the upper part of the ship’s deck.

Quote of the Week

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

That’s all for today. See you on Saturday next week!
