A month and a half ago, we received a new lead asking for help in creating a wardrobe. We chose Milan as the city for the work. For me, it’s the best option for creating a gentleman’s wardrobe, considering that I already have a route and an impressive list of shops.

Preparation for the Styling Session in Milan

This time, a gentleman from Saudi Arabia contacted us. He is the co-owner of an investment company.

During our communication, we identified his needs and had a call where we explained our work processes and how our work would proceed. After the call, we sent a form to fill out his measurements and reference images of styles he likes.

Then we started preparing. Before going to Milan, I reviewed the form, understood what we needed to buy, and based on the request, created a list of items to purchase.

First Day of In-Person Styling

When I arrived in Milan after Pitti Uomo, I followed my route in search of items that we would try on once the client arrived. On the first day, I created outfits, found suitable shoes, and noted the prices to control the budget. The solo work I do greatly improves the process when you arrive, saving you a lot of time. Shopping isn’t done in search mode; the client just needs to come, try on what we prepared, and enjoy beautiful Milan. We can always have a delicious espresso in a nice place during the process, and I always show places with amazing desserts that everyone loves.

This time, we had a slightly shifted schedule because the gentleman arrived at 3:00 PM directly from the sea, and we started creating outfits a bit later than usual. This wasn’t a big problem because the previously created outfits and route helped us save a lot of time. As always, we started with shoes. We bought two pairs of different loafers in one store and then went to another store where we got sneakers and more casual loafers for everyday wear. We also bought a safari jacket, trousers, shirts, and polo shirts on the first day.

Challenges and Solutions in Styling

On the third day, we went to a store to buy shirts but couldn’t find anything suitable. We concluded that we needed to tailor them because there was a special request to add initials to the shirt and create spalla camicia collars. This can’t be done in regular stores, so we decided to tailor them ourselves. Initially, I wanted to do it with my acquaintances who have their own atelier, but they were busy, so I decided we could do it ourselves. It was a good sign for a start, a sign that has come to me many times, hinting at a beginning. But that’s not the point. In that store, we also bought polo shirts, a jumper, and went to buy accessories: invisible socks, belts, and basic T-shirts. Then we went to the tailor to quickly shorten and fit the items. Yes, we have our own tailors in Milan to quickly adjust items to fit a gentleman’s figure, highlighting his individuality.

After that, we also tried to find cream-colored jeans but couldn’t find them. Instead, we found a beautiful vest that we could easily incorporate into our wardrobe.

Creating the Final Outfits

After this, we were supposed to go to the hotel to create the outfits, but due to the unusual schedule, our client said he wanted to create the outfits himself. We suggested he take photos, send them to us, and we would create a presentation with descriptions and recommendations based on the photos.

Reflecting on the Personal Styling Experience

As always, it was a pleasure for me to spend three days in the company of a true gentleman and intelligent person. During the process, we exchanged ideas, shared our thoughts, and talked about various topics.

We want to thank you for your trust in our company and for choosing us.

We are planning new trips and launching new products.
