Kiton’s Timeless Elegance
After Pitti Uomo, we headed to Milan, where Fashion Week was taking place.
We had invitations to several brand presentations and successfully prepared content for you.The first presentation took place in the morning at Kiton’s palazzo, where we were introduced to the new collections and once again reminded of the brand’s core values. Kiton understands that fashion is evolving and has started creating pieces for the new generation while maintaining its signature classic style. We recently wrote an article about the brand’s history, which you can revisit to learn more. This was my second Kiton presentation, and as always, I really enjoyed it—it’s always a pleasure to return.
Church’s Footwear Presentation
After the Kiton presentation, I went to the Church’s footwear event, which was held in one of my favorite areas of Milan—Brera, in a library. The atmosphere was incredibly beautiful, and at the end of the hall, a craftsman was performing glassage shoe polishing by hand. It was a truly aesthetic and mesmerizing sight.
Inside the Santoni Showroom
The next day, we were invited to the Santoni showroom, where I had the opportunity to see the handmade production process firsthand. It was a display of true craftsmanship—after all, handmade work is one of the most beautiful things. As Giuseppe Santoni said: “Hands are the instrument of the soul.” I have good friends at Santoni, and I was happy to see them again, meet new people, and immerse myself in the brand’s history.
A Visit to Tod’s at Villa Necchi
Another presentation I was invited to was a Tod’s event at Villa Necchi, where a scene from House of Gucci was filmed. If you ever visit Milan, I highly recommend stopping by. The villa is located in the city center, and there’s a cozy café nearby where you can enjoy a cup of espresso—an excellent choice for a short break. We also have friends at Tod’s, and whenever I’m in Milan, I make sure to stop by their store on Via Montenapoleone to say hello. I really enjoyed the presentation.
Milan in Moments
Besides that, I visited friends’ stores, had multiple espressos with an incredibly delicious Principessa dessert at my favorite Sant Ambroeus, and prepared another round of high-quality content for you, which I am now sharing.
To sum it up, this trip was unforgettable. After such productive travels, one could use some extra rest, but there’s no time for that—we need to keep creating new products and services for you. We hope that very soon, you’ll finally be able to order trousers from our brand.
A huge thank you for being part of our journey, which is only just beginning!
Fact in the Spotlight
The first Milan Fashion Week took place in 1958. It was organized by the Italian National Chamber of Fashion (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana) and has been held twice a year ever since— in February/March (Autumn-Winter) and September/October (Spring-Summer).
Quote of the Week
Alan Flusser notes in his book ‘Dressing the Man’: ‘It would be difficult to find a photograph of the Duke of Windsor, Fred Astaire, or any well-dressed man of the 1930s without a pocket square in some form. The last American politician considered stylish, President Kennedy, never left the White House in a suit without a scrap of fabric in the pocket.’

That’s all for today. See you on Saturday next week!
