Hello everyone!
This is Elety Guest — a closer look at real men and their worlds. Every edition brings you a relaxed chat with someone new: how they spend their days, what drives them, and the style that makes them feel like themselves. Simple stories, honest voices, and plenty of inspiration for your own journey.
Previous guests are available here.
Today, please welcome Johan Wikström.
Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about what you do?
My name is Johan Wikström also known as @sartorial_finn on Instagram. I’m 37 years old and live in Helsinki Finland. I work as an executive in data & analytics consulting.
As for menswear, I really got into it in 2019 when I was still working at a law firm and there people where dressed a lot in nice suits. I started my Instagram account around the same time to share my journey into classic menswear.

How did your profession become part of your life?
After I finished my economics studies there was a lot of work available around data. Since then I’ve been climbing the career ladder and been in a few different companies.

Where do you find inspiration?
When I started out my main source of inspiration was Instagram. I started following a lot of accounts focusing on classic menswear such as Andreas Weinås.
These days I also get inspired from people on the street or TV-series and movies.

What is your professional recommendation?
For photoshoots, I think a lot of people feel awkward in front of a camera. Try and relax, figure out a few ”go-to poses” before hand that you can use and that look natural in photos.
Focus on lighting, it’s the key to beautiful photos and video.

What is a useful habit that can help a man?
Curiosity! Wanting to understand things will make you learn a lot of new things. When I got into classic menswear I was curious about the history of menswear, what makes good outfits, tailoring process and fabrics etc. This also has applied for me on Instagram. I was curious about photography and videography so I started learning and I believe I’ve grown as a photographer since I started in 2019.

Final question – Who is a gentleman?
Plenty of people I know are, but I’d have to say my late grandfather has been a significant source of inspiration in how to act like a gentleman, and how to dress.

Quote of the Week
Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not needing to explain it.

Fact in the Spotlight
A well-fitted jacket can visually improve posture and silhouette more than any accessory. Proper shoulder alignment and sleeve length instantly make the body appear straighter, broader, and more confident—often without the wearer realizing it.
That’s all for today. See you on Saturday next week!
Yours sincerely, Anton and Eugene
